Learning outcomes & description

DESCRIPTION

The aim of this module is to enable learners to respond to some of the main risks related to the safety and health of applicants in reception, such as those related to violation of house rules, sudden influx, gender-based violence, trafficking of human beings. The module will also enable learners to create, in collaboration with main stakeholders, inclusive and safe reception environments through preventing the emergence or deterioration of (mental) health conditions and substance use in reception.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of this module, the learner will be able to:
  1. Propose appropriate response options for some of the main risks related to the safety and health of applicants in reception environments
  2. Review and design  interventions to create inclusive and safe reception environments in collaboration with main stakeholders

DELIVERY METHOD

This module follows a blended learning approach, combining asynchronous self-paced learning with synchronous face-to-face sessions. The asynchronous component includes learning activities to support progress and self-assessment, while the face-to-face session focuses on complex topics requiring discussion and practice.
