This module aims to provide learners with the knowledge, skills, and competences related to the delivery and assessment of EUAA training modules.
It covers the basics of delivery and assessment with a focus on the learners’ training skills, focusing on didactics, adult learning and the learner-centred approach. Regarding assessment, the module focuses on grading assessments, applying grading rubrics/scales, and providing feedback.

The module consists of two parts:
-
Becoming an EUAA Trainer (BET) aims to develop the learners’ training skills, focusing on didactics, adult learning, and the learner-centred approach.
-
Becoming an EUAA Assessor (BEA) focuses on grading assessments, applying grading rubrics/scales, and providing feedback.

DELIVERY METHOD
This module is delivered through a blended learning approach, combining online studies and face-to-face sessions.
The online component focuses on the role and responsibilities of a trainer and assessor in the learning process. Using a gamified approach, the exercises used are based on real life scenarios from the training environment.
The face-to-face sessions focus on putting into practice the knowledge learners acquired during the online studies. Throughout the program, a consistent crosscutting focus is maintained on a learner-centred approach and the quality assurance of training and assessment processes.
ASSESSMENT STRATEGY
The assessment strategy is based on two assessments conducted during the face-to-face part and at the end of the module.
The first assessment is simulation-based to assess learners’ training delivery skills and the second is a multiple-choice assessment designed to assess learners’ competences on assessment and verification in relation to the learning outcomes of the module.
