In 2024, the Office for the Support and Integration of Migrants launched the project "Providing Accommodation and Care for Unaccompanied Minors". The purpose of the project is to implement a systematic arrangement of accommodation and professional care for children. The project finances the accommodation of unaccompanied minors in appropriate premises and 24-hour care, which is provided by professionally trained staff. The operation is 90% co-financed by the European Union from the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). |

The government adopted new rules on residing in the Centre for Foreigners. If the house rules of the Centre for Foreigners are breached, the provisions of the act regulating foreigners' entry into, departure from and stay in Slovenia, which provide for measures in the event of breaches of the house rules of the Centre for Foreigners, shall apply to the detained applicants for international protection. |
